Dodge Communications named "Top Tech Communicator"

PRSourceCode recognizes growing firm as "Top Small Agency" in its third annual study

ATLANTA – September 3, 2008 – Dodge Communications, a leading PR and marketing agency specializing in healthcare and technology, today announced it has been named “Top Small Agency” in PRSourceCode’s third annual “Top Tech Communicators” study. In addition, Dodge Communications’ Vice President Brian Parrish was recognized as a “Top Individual Practitioner” for the second year in a row.

Study findings are based on an online survey of more than 800 journalists from IT and business publications. The survey asked members of various editorial staffs to rank PR agencies, corporate PR departments and individual PR practitioners based on the value the agency or practitioner delivers to the editorial process in terms of responsiveness, reliability and overall recognition of editorial needs. Responses to the survey came from a variety of publications with editorial focuses ranging from consumer-related technology, horizontal technology and healthcare technology. “Being named to the ‘Top Tech Communicators’ list is an honor for Dodge Communications,” said Brad Dodge, president and CEO of Dodge Communications. “As a company, we strive to provide journalists with the best sources and the best information in a timely manner. Being recognized for our efforts is confirmation that we are accomplishing that goal.”

Parrish is one of 32 individual practitioners nationwide to be named to the 2008 “Top Individual Practitioner” list, and one of only three to be included two years in a row. He is a veteran of the technology industry and has worked with Dodge Communications since the company was founded in 2001. As a vice president, he provides strategic counsel to national and international clients, including brand and messaging development and the implementation of marketing and public relations programs. In 2007, Parrish secured more than 200 premium editorial placements for his clients in a variety of technology-focused publications.

“Brian’s work with the media continues to be outstanding,” Dodge said. “He understands the need to build and maintain strong relationships with the editorial community in order to accomplish the goals of our clients. We are proud to have Brian on the Dodge Communications team and are thrilled to recognize his achievement.”
