Agency receives Davey Awards for the second consecutive year

ATLANTA – January 15, 2009 – Dodge Communications, a public relations and marketing agency serving the healthcare industry, today announced that it received seven awards in the 2008 Davey Awards competition. This marks the second consecutive year that the Davey Awards has honored the agency. Last year, Dodge received four awards in the competition.

Dodge Communications garnered gold for their execution of trade show graphics and pre-show promotional materials for API Software, Inc. The campaign, which showcased the flexibility of the company’s labor resource management solutions for hospitals, was used to raise awareness for the company prior to the event.

“Dodge’s commitment to creative campaigns continues to help us maintain a presence in the marketplace,” said Samantha Ehley, marketing manager of API Software, Inc. “Their work on this campaign significantly contributed to the success of our booth during the trade show and gave API a unique look that stood out among other participating companies.”

Dodge Communications also received six silver awards
for the following work:

  • Copywriting in a direct marketing campaign for Rubbermaid Medical Solutions;
  • Medical Present Value’s (MPV) audio direct mail campaign;
  • Navicure’s print ad campaign;
  • Greencastle Consulting’s print ad campaign;
  • PCG Software’s print ad campaign; and
  • MRO’s online ad campaign.

“Our creative team always strives to deliver work that helps clients elevate their brands and achieve their sales and marketing objectives,” said Brad Dodge, president and CEO of Dodge Communications. “These awards recognize our commitment to creative excellence and I commend our team for the caliber of work they consistently produce for our clients.”

The annual Davey Awards is an international competition that recognizes small agencies for their unique and effective campaigns. The awards are overseen and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and were sponsored by AdvertisingAge this year. The 2008 awards marks the fourth year the competition has been held and it received more than 4,000 entries.

“We are truly amazed and excited at the overall caliber and quality of this year’s pool of entries,” said Linda Day, executive director of the IAVA. “The Davey Awards serves as the benchmark for recognizing creative excellence and continues to raise the bar in honoring the best work from small agencies and firms worldwide.”
