Kred measures social media influence by giving users a score for both influence and outreach. Influence on Kred represents the social media user’s ability to cause their followers to act on a certain topic. The influence level is scored on a 1,000 point scale and is measured by the number of retweets, replies, mentions and followers a user has on Twitter. Facebook can also be leveraged with Kred, as the tool measures based on Facebook interactions similar to those of Twitter. The outreach element of Kred refers to mentioning others with the goal of assisting them in engaging followers and spreading their message, and it is scored on a scale of 1-12. Kred can be an effective tool to gauge your company’s general level of social influence on Twitter and Facebook.
