Conversion videos are videos designed with intent to get web visitors to take a specific action. Often, the goal of conversion videos is to invite viewers to self-identify themselves by signing up for a product demo, newsletter or a content download. Usually identifiable by a clearly recognizable call-to-action, these videos are the easiest to measure – simply count the number of prospects who completed the desired action. Some video hosting tools, like Wistia, enable marketers to place forms in the video player, allowing for effortless collection of prospect information.
