Asana is an online project management program that helps teams work together in the most effective way possible by improving communication and collaboration. Asana focuses on streamlining organizational technology to improve accountability among team members with the overall goal of keeping a team in sync with regard to business initiatives. The tool allows teams to connect from virtually anywhere, at any time. Asana is absolutely free for up to 30 team members to access the basic features and is very simple to use and stay in tune with each other. The tool allows users to access various workspaces for each specific project to aid in maximum productivity. Each workspace provides the option to create a project, invite coworkers and assign them to tasks, even if they are not a member of Asana. There is a space to the right of each task to fill out notes for any information that will be useful for communication and collaboration between coworkers. In addition to tasks, subtasks can be created for additional organizational purposes. Asana syncs to your calendar, so all projects and tasks will be uploaded to your calendar for easy access. Overall, Asana is a free, easy-to-use tool that enhances team productivity.
