Screenr: For creating quick and simple (and free) screencasts, Screenr is a convenient, easy-to-use tool. All users have to do is click record on the home page to launch the app, choose the portion of their screen that they want to record, and they’re ready to go. If you want to record audio and your computer doesn’t have a built-in microphone, you’ll need to plug in an external mic. Once the screencast recording is complete, users have several options for dissemination. A unique link is provided for sharing, users can share directly with their social networks on Facebook and Twitter, and the video can even be instantly uploaded to YouTube. Embed code is also provided for users who want to post their screencast directly on their own website or blog.
