iTriage: iTriage is a great tool that combines the best features of e-patient
tools such as WebMD with the convenience and portability of your smartphone. Beginning with a quick symptom search, iTriage will quickly give the user a list of possible diagnoses. Depending on the illness, the app will then tell the user which facility is most appropriate for treatment (ER, urgent care center, primary physician, etc.) and, using the user’s location, provide turn-by-turn directions to the nearest treatment center. The app also provides user reviews of the doctors that it will send you to, and users can also look over treatment options for the various conditions. iTriage is currently available for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Palm users.
