Dropbox: Have you ever e-mailed a file to yourself just so you would have it on another computer? Of course, everyone has. There’s nothing worse than having a file that you need saved to another machine, then digging through your email folders on the off-chance that the file is attached to an old message. Dropbox eliminates this dilemma. Dropbox is a free, cloud-based software application that allows you to sync your files to any computer with Dropbox installed. It’s your own personal shared drive with 2GB of space at your disposal (paid plans are also available to get up to 100GB of space). Mobile apps are available so you can access your files on the go, and if you’re on a machine that does not belong to you, your files are easily accessible by logging into your account on the Dropbox website.
